What causes a 1-month-old puppy to throw up green-yellow vomit?

If Toby has only thrown up 1 maybe 2 times but is still eating,drinking and playing normally I would continue to monitor his behavior . If at anytime he starts vomiting more, acting lethargic, having diarrhea or not eating I would recommend taking him to a vet as soon as possible. It is possible that Toby ate something he should not or even had a mild upset stomach that caused him to get sick. IF he is acting normally but continues to occasionally vomit I would recommend switching his dog food because sometimes vomiting can be secondary to a food allergy. I hope that helps

I would recommend changing the diet and considering adding a probiotic to the diet such as Purina Fortiflora. In a recent study, it was shown that almost 55% of GI cases (vomiting / diarrhea ) were related to the diet or the intestinal bacterial content being low. I would consider switching to a different diet and wait at least 4 weeks to see a difference. The probiotic can be found online or at your local pet store. If there is no improvement on the new diet, you may need to do a food trial on a hydrolyzed protein diet to rule out a dietary allergy. If the diet has been ruled out as the cause, I would recommend running Kobe's bloodwork and considering an abdominal ultrasound or x-rays. I hope this helps! Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Chewy evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid she is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check her hydration status and give her medications to make her feel better. Good luck!

If Oreo is continually vomiting I would recommend taking him to a veterinarian. Puppies can get sick and decline quickly. This may not be a virus but it can be something he ate. The veterinarian will be able to provide nutritional support and rehydrate Oreo. They can also give medication to stop him from vomiting. I'm sorry to hear of your concerns with Toby. It is possible that his appetite is decreased and his stomach is a little upset from the stress of being in a new environment. As long as he does not continue to vomit and he begins eating within 24 hours, I would not be concerned. If Toby is not drinking normally, becomes lethargic or develops any other symptoms such as diarrhea, I would recommend that you have him seen by a veterinarian.

Poor Gulliver! He could have an upset stomach from too many treats. If he is otherwise acting fine, you could withhold food for the day and then try a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice and see how he does with that. If the vomiting continues or he becomes lethargic then he needs to be seen by your vet for treatment. Hope he feels better soon!
