If you could take some pictures of the affected area, it would be really helpful in allowing us to better direct you in one way or another. The most common type of skin lesions to see on a young puppy's face, particularly a Mastiff, would be a superficial skin infection OR puppy acne. Depending on the extent of the problem, many times these can resolve on their own without any treatment. If there is discharge emanating from the lesions, this might be something that should require at the very least some topical anti-microbials or disinfectants. Mites can also result in skin lesions on puppies. Treatment for this should be determined by your veterinarian based on its appearance and possibly a skin scraping. If you choose to try something at home first prior to visiting with your vet, look for a triple antibiotic ointment to apply to the area, and also something like benzoyl peroxide. Both of these should be over the counter. Hope this helps!
