My puppy fell, no pain. Should I be concerned about a hidden injury?

Puppies are very resilient so Pi is probably fine. He would show a problem right away if he was injured. He certainly can get injured from falling so I would make sure he isn’t able to fall off the bed again or from someone’s arms. He could get a head or neck injury or break a bone so please be careful. Poor Winston! Given that he's walking fine, eating, and playing, I wouldn't rush him into a vet right away. There is a chance he could have suffering from some internal injuries from the fall, and I would monitor him for now. If he starts limping, stops eating, vomits, becomes very lethargic, or have any other changes in behavior from the normal, I would have him seen by a vet immediately.

Hello. Most likely the puppy is fine, but you might want to pick her up & do a little exam on her. Gently pull on each leg & make sure she pulls back evenly ( you might want to try this with a litter mate first to get an idea of what is normal ). Then see how she does when you place her back down. Does she wiggle in a normal manner back to mom. If she seems to react in a similar manner to her siblings, then she is probably fine. Newborns are pretty resilient. Yes, I think he’ll be fine. Luckily puppies are very resilient and many minor injuries heal quickly in young animals. If there was a serious head injury he would be lethargic, not responsive or not eat or drink normally. He may have some discomfort on his head for a day or so but probably no lasting issues. Puppies can heal quickly so please feel the leg and as long as it feels normal and he doesn’t cry then you can give him a few days to recover. I’d keep him quiet and take him out for potty breaks only for a day or two. If he’s still lame then you’ll need a veterinary exam to determine the cause. Poor Naila! I'm glad to hear that she is playing and active after the fall. Fortunately, falling from the couch is a relatively short distance. At this point, since Naila is active with no signs of pain or injury, there is nothing you need to do. However, closely watch her over the next day or so to make sure she continues moving around normally, acting normally, and is eating and drinking appropriately. If you observe any changes, she should see a vet for an exam. I hope that all goes well!
