My puppy eats poop, has worms, and won't eat. Should I see a vet?

Try to feed them little and often, but if still being sick they could benefit from an anti sickness injection or medications. They also need to be treated for worms and have their vaccinations ( when they are feeling a bit better ).

First of all if you have found worms in his feces, that could be the reason for the symptoms, you should get him dewormed first thing. if deworming him does not solve the problem you will need to take him to the vet as he may be suffering from a bacterial/viral infection.

If your puppy is not eating at all and this began within the last day or two, I would be very concerned about a serious medical problem - if this is the case, you should get him to a vet right away. Common causes of not eating in puppies would include parvo or intestinal obstruction, but almost any serious illness could cause not eating as a symptom so it would be hard to know the cause without an exam and possibly some blood work or x-rays. If this problem has been going on for a while and your pup is acting fairly normal otherwise, then yes - it's possible that he could have worms, or he may be a picky eater who would do better with a different diet. You could try deworming him with a dewormer labeled for dogs such as Panacur - you can get this over the counter at many pet stores, just follow the dosing instructions on the label for your puppy's weight. You may also want to try a different brand or flavor of puppy chow, or mix some canned puppy food in with his dry food to see if this helps to tempt his appetite. If this doesn't seem to help, then I would recommend having him seen by a vet to find out if there is some other reason for his poor appetite.

Ideally he should be seen by a vet to stabilise his condition and correct dehydration as well as supplemental feeding and a full health check to rule out additional illnesses reducing his appetite. Consider surrendering him to your local shelter to get him the best care. In the meantime an oral worm dose carefully dosed for his weight from your vets office or pet store, pedialyte and a mousse textured high calorie recovery or puppy food is recommended

Poor girl. I would highly recommend taking Kuybi to your local vet right away. The fact that she is not eating means she is in critical condition and needs further testing to determine what the underlying problem is so that we know how best to treat her moving forward. Just about any disease can cause inappetance in a puppy and green colored stool, including: a severe intestinal parasites infection, parvovirus, or a severe bacterial infection. Until you can get Kuybi seen by your vet, you can try offering some baby food (meat/vegetables) and non-flavored Pedialyte diluted with water to help provide some kind of nutritional support. I am concerned Mooshi may have a serious viral infection as well as an abundant of worms. Since he is so small and easily dehydrated I would strongly encourage to take him to your vet for an exam. Your vet can assess his hydration, do a fecal to figure out the type of worms and dewormer he needs and whether he needs any additional medicine to combat the vomiting, lethargy and diarrhea. It is not normal that Pig has a steady blood flow from her behind, and it could be the heavy burden of worms, but it could be something more serious such as parvovirus. I would consider this a medical emergency, and I strongly urge you to take her into a vet now. Best of luck.
