Hi,
I would recommend keeping Wolverine confined to just your house and yard for now. Until all the vaccinations are complete, there is a risk he could either get sick or infected since his immune system is weaker compared to adults. I would recommend rabies, Lyme, Lepto, and bordetella vaccines. Bordetella is important if he will be around many other dogs such as boarding or the dog park.

I do not recommend taking puppies who are not fully vaccinated to the park, or any other areas where there have been other dogs. pit bulls are especially susceptible to Parvo virus, and since this virus can live in the soil it is best not to go to communal dog areas until they are fully vaccInated. You can safely walk your puppy on the sidewalk, and maybe even find a friend with a puppy the same age and vaccination status to arrange a play-date in the backyard.
Once Wolverine is older and has had all his vaccinations with your regular veterinarian I know he will thoroughly enjoy exploring with you at the park. Until then let's keep him safe and stay away!

For his own safety and the safety of other dogs, it would be best to wait until he has received his complete first year round of vaccines including the second parvovirus vaccine which usually is given at around 4-5 months of age though that depends on when they received the first set of vaccines. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and congratulations on your new puppy! Unfortunately, Maximus is not fully vaccinated at this point, so he should not be going outside. Depending on your state, he can be fully vaccinated by 12 or 16 weeks. If this was his first round of shots, he will need a booster in 2-4 weeks and then his Rabies vaccine at 12-16 weeks as well as his last booster. Maximus should have minimal contact with other dogs (even where other dogs have gone to the bathroom) as you can’t be sure they are not carrying any of the viruses that Maximus is not vaccinated for that can make him very sick. I know it is difficult to keep a large active puppy inside, but your vet can work with you to have Maximus fully vaccinated in a reasonable amount of time.

I would wait a few days after the second vaccination to take her out. However I would wait until a few days after the third vaccination before going to a dog park. The body needs time to make antibodies, and that happens in the days after a vaccination.

Congratulations on your new puppy! Red can interact with other dogs when he has had all of core vaccines which include rabies, bordetella (kennel cough) and a combination distemper vaccine. His rabies vaccine can be given after he is 12 weeks old and he should receive at least three distemper vaccines (usually given at 6, 9, and 12 weeks). Good job on thinking to booster her vaccinations. Her last vaccination needs to be given when she is a minimum of 16 weeks old (4 months) and a minimum of 2 vaccinations. Which based on your timeline I assume Has occurred but you should verify the dates you vaccinated. Also, I am unclear if she was ever vaccinated for rabies virus. This is very important and can only be administered by a veterinarian. You may also want to consider vaccinating for bordetella and possibly canine influenza if your state has had any outbreaks. I would play with Mia in your yard, but I would not take her into any public places until she is fully vaccinated. She is still susceptible to catching highly contagious and deadly diseases like parvo and distemper until she receives that third round of vaccines. Her health is too important to risk, so try to wear her out in your yard only. Best of luck.
