Hormonal changes or diet changes (such as suddenly switching to the puppy food) can sometimes cause diarrhea post-birth, however if it is continuing, bringing in a fecal sample of Lacey's stool to your vet is a good next step. Your vet can check for common parasites or other issues that could be causing the diarrhea, especially if a bland meal hasn't helped. If the diarrhea continues and the fecal comes back negative, a more thorough exam from your vet is best.

Most likely he has loose stools because of the cows milk. Give him about 1-2 days and if the loose stools has not resolved, then its best to get him seen by your vet for treatment. Most puppies however will resovle their loose stools on their own after making the appropriate change in their diet. yes you can do it for a limited amount of time (max 12 hours), then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 3-4 days. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice vomiting, lethargy or inappetence. Poor pups! The most common cause of diarrhea in puppies this age is intestinal parasites, so I would recommend taking a fecal sample to your vet to be checked tomorrow morning, if you can. He/she can prescribe an appropriate dewormer or other medication if needed, depending on what is found. If the fecal exam is normal, then it would be best to bring the puppies in for an exam sooner than next Monday if possible since they may need an antibiotic or other medication to treat the diarrhea - it's best not to let this go too long, since young puppies like this can get very sick, very quickly.

Yes, that will cause diarrhea. In addition, dairy causes GI upset in dogs, so it's never recommended to give it to them. If Toby is old enough to be away from his mother (at least 6-8 weeks of age), then he does not need milk anymore. He should only be drinking water, and he can have puppy food. If he is stlll young, less than 6 weeks of age, you can safely give him puppy formula. I recommend KMR, you can get it from the grocery store or pet store.
