Why does my puppy have sudden crusty sores on her belly and face?

I would start by bathing her twice per week with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner such as an oatmeal or fatty acid based formula. This may take care of it as it appears mild. The circular spots look like epidermal collarettes which are secondary to a bacterial infection on the skin. Sometimes this can affect the hair follicle and make the hair fall out. The pustules with pus are also infected. It is unlikely to go away since it involves several spots already The sooner the treatment starts the better so it stops spreading. Typically they will prescribe antibiotics and possibly a medicated shampoo and something to stop her from scratching if that becomes a problem.

It may be a little skin infection. It is common and easily can happen. They can also make it worse themselves. I would recommend making an appointment with your veterinarian to have them evaluate it since it may require antibiotics. Without seeing it though I cannot say for sure. That lesion on CT could be a few things and the most common is bacterial or ringworm (which humans can get). If you are inclined to try home care, you can wash the area once daily with hand soap and rinse it well. You can then apply just a dab of coconut oil and rub it in well. Make sure he cannot lick it. If this is not much better in a week, have him seen by his veterinarian. Otherwise you can have him seen by the veterinarian who may recommend testing for ringworm and may send him home with medication. I hope this is helpful. Ellie's temperature is still within normal limits. The high end of the normal temperature range is 102.5 so she is not running a fever. The abdominal skin appears to be infected. I suspect this is puppy pyoderma, which typically needs topical and oral antibiotic therapy. It looks like your dog has a skin infection so he should be examined and treated by a vet. He, likely, needs an oral antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory that your vet can prescribe. If the meantime, you can bathe him with a medicated shampoo, like Douxo Chlorhexidine. You could also spray the lesion with Vetericyn wound and skin care spray.
