My dog has a pink crusty sore on his belly. What should I do next?

My dog is a chihuahua mixed with pug and he has pink crusty sore on his belly area - he is on insulin becouse of his diabetes

That lesion on CT could be a few things and the most common is bacterial or ringworm (which humans can get). If you are inclined to try home care, you can wash the area once daily with hand soap and rinse it well. You can then apply just a dab of coconut oil and rub it in well. Make sure he cannot lick it. If this is not much better in a week, have him seen by his veterinarian.
Otherwise you can have him seen by the veterinarian who may recommend testing for ringworm and may send him home with medication. I hope this is helpful. Please feel free to post any additional questions.
