Will boiled chicken upset my puppy's stomach if used as a treat?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Hi, I have recently gotten a pup who is seven weeks old and I would like to start treat training. His diet is dry food only, would it hurt him or upset his stomach to use tiny amounts of boiled chicken as a treat?

No, this shouldn't cause any problems at all. Boiled chicken is a great choice for training treats, and you can definitely go ahead and start working with Dexter as long as you keep your training sessions short and fun :)
