No, you should not do that as it would alter the nutritional composition of your dog's food. You should feed a good quality complete puppy food for large dogs. This would be proper food that provides your dog with everything he needs. You can give a boiled egg once in a while as a treat but not as a regular supplement with his feed.

    You can, but in moderation. Eggs are really just a fat source for pets, so they don't provide much nutritional support. 1 egg every few days is what you should probably aim for. Also keep in mind that the more people food you feed your pet, the more inclined they are to be a picky eater and refuse their normal dog kibble or canned dog food. Best wishes with Snoppy. Cow's milk isn't digestible to dogs at this age, so I would definitely not give that or you will almost certainly get loose stools. A boiled egg is high in calories also, so its best to limit this to 3-4 times a week at most or you have the potential to make Charlie a bit overweight. He is a rather cute puppy though. Thank you for submitting your question regarding Murphy. I do not recommend feeding him an egg every day. An egg is actually a fair amount of calories for a puppy. It will likely fill him up and he will eat less dog food. It could also lead to unnecessary weight gain. His puppy food is appropriately formulated for his growth and development. Is my active puppy's diet healthy? Should I feed bread or eggs?
Bread isn't really a great choice to feed a dog, it is quite stodgey and fattening and the gluten can upset dog's stomachs. Moreover an occasional egg is okay but they are quite fatty so shouldn't be fed all the time. With this diet your dog is likely not getting the correct balance of nutrients. I would highly recommend feeding the best complete dog food you can afford, twice a day. If you really want you can add healthy foods to the diet to supplement it.
