Is my active puppy's diet healthy? Should I feed bread or eggs?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 3 days old | 53.7 lbs

I am sharing my puppy's diet here just to make sure hr is having the right diet. I would love to know your feedback on it. Also he exercises alot throughout the day. So in the morning he eats an egg or two with two breads then has pedigree for lunch and finally has his cerelac powder with three breads. He exercises alot throughout the day. We also give him Omega supplement.

Bread isn't really a great choice to feed a dog, it is quite stodgey and fattening and the gluten can upset dog's stomachs. Moreover an occasional egg is okay but they are quite fatty so shouldn't be fed all the time. With this diet your dog is likely not getting the correct balance of nutrients. I would highly recommend feeding the best complete dog food you can afford, twice a day. If you really want you can add healthy foods to the diet to supplement it.
