Puppy bitten by stray dog before vaccines. What should I do?

Hi. My 3 month old puppy got bitten by a stray dog. He was supposed to have his last vaccine tomorrow. What should I do?

Oh no, your poor puppy! I would clean the bite with warm water and antiseptic soap. He will need to see a vet as soon as possible because the bite can become infected and he likely needs antibiotics to prevent that. As for his vaccine, the vet may hold off while he's on antibiotics but that after, Russo should be able to get his vaccines. I would report to the vet that he was bitten by a stray, and Russo may need to be quarantined to make sure he doesn't have rabies (rabies are passed through bites). Take him into the vet as soon as you can. I hope this helps!
