How often should I bathe my puppy? Are flavored dog toys safe?

I typically recommend bathing no more than once every week or every 2 weeks unless there is a skin condition requiring frequent medicated baths. If Luna’s skin is not becoming dried out or irritated the frequency of bathing and the type of shampoo you are using is probably fine. If Luna is itchy, her skin is red or flakey, or if she has an unusual odor, she may have a skin condition. If this is the case she needs to have an examination done by your veterinarian to address her skin issues. I would recommend bathing him every 2-4 weeks as needed to prevent overdrying of the skin. An oatmeal based puppy shampoo is great to use. Then in between baths you can use puppy wipes which are found at your local pet store. This works wel to my overdry your pet but also keep him smelling fresh. : ) I hope this helps!

Aw Snoopy is adorable! Yes you can bathe him but I would use something very gentle like a puppy shampoo. I do not recommend using a flea shampoo as these can sometimes be too strong for puppies. You can bathe him every 2-3 weeks unless he gets really muddy/stinky and needs a bath otherwise. I hope this helps!

As long as Luna is doing well at home, eating and drinking well and seems overall healthy, it should be perfectly fine to give her a bath. I would use a mild puppy or dog shampoo. Too much bathing can cause the natural oils to strip from their skin/coat. I suggest you bathe with a soap-free shampoo and try not to bathe more than once every 2 weeks. Hello, and thanks for your question. You can start both of these things anytime! 6 weeks of age is an ok time to start treats, and give a bath if needed. Just make sure the treats are used for training purposes only, and most of his nutrition is gained from a high quality puppy food. Hope this helps.
