My 7-month-old puppy ate all Jerhigh milk treats. Is it serious?

Naughty pup! He should be fine. At worst, you may see some mild stomach upset ([vomiting](https://www.petcoach.co/dog/condition/vomiting-1/) and/or [diarrhea](https://www.petcoach.co/dog/condition/diarrhea-1/)). If he hasn't vomited by now, he likely won't vomit at all. Mild upset can usually be[ treated at home](https://www.petcoach.co/article/how-to-treat-your-dogs-upset-stomach) with a short fast followed by a bland diet fed in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve. He may also become constipated from all the treats, so if he hasn't pooped in more than 12 hours, try adding some plain canned pumpkin (**NOT pumpkin pie filling**) to his food and increase exercise. Both may stimulate defecation. Make sure he has plenty of fresh water as well. If he doesn't defecate for more than 24 hours, have him physically examined by your veterinarian.

Monitor for lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite or abdominal pain. If necessary, withhold food for 24 hours, allowing small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts until vomiting/diarrhea resolve. If symptoms persist, consider an exam with your veterinarian.

I would be concerned that eating an entire bag of greenies could cause some digestive upset. I would watch out for issues such as vomiting, diarrhea, bloating, extreme pain, etc that could indicate severe GI upset and warrants a trip to your vet or ER clinic. Otherwise, picking up Roscoe's food for several hours and then feeding a bland meal of boiled chicken and rice may help with any minor tummy upset.

Oh no, naughty Moose! He will most likely be just fine. I would not feed him anything else tonight, and go back to his normal food tomorrow. Watch for signs of GI upset, such as diarrhea & vomiting. If that occurs, it's best to reach out to the vet, as he may need medication to help settle his stomach after gorging himself. Make sure you keep plenty of fresh water available, as treats often have a higher salt content than normal food, so he may be thirstier than usual. Clinical symptoms that can occur include inappetence, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain. Sometimes this resolves on its own. However, sometimes this does require some form of therapy which is mostly supportive in nature. Since he has developed diarrhea, have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to prescribe an anti-diarrhea medication.
