My puppy ate a Band-Aid paper tab. Should I be worried? Will it pass?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 8 months and 4 days old | 10.6 lbs

I think my puppy ate one of those Band-Aid tabs the ones that peel off in order to stick the bandaid on. I didn't see her do it but all I know is one minute it was there now it's not and she did have access to it when my back was turned I just want to know will it pass it was just the paper?

Don't worry, this is unlikely to cause any issues. Most small pieces of plastic and cloth and other material pass just fine in the stool, if the puppy doesn't vomit it up first. If Snowball is vomiting over and over again tonight or tomorrow, or doesn't seem herself, then she should see a vet. Otherwise, she'll likely be just fine! Hope that helps!
