6-month pug not eating, diarrhea, eating wood. What can the vet do?

Monty sounds like he is very sick! It sounds like he has only had one round of vaccinations, so he is still susceptible to parvovirus, which can be a life threatening infection. Even if he does not have a parvo infection, vomiting and diarrhea can quickly dehydrate a young puppy. I recommend taking him to your veterinarian. Your veterinarian may want to test for parvovirus. You can try feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts. Begin with 1 tablespoon of food and gradually increase the amount if he eats and holds it down. A bland diet can be plain white rice mixed with one of the following: cottage cheese, cooked/drained ground turkey, cooked/drained ground beef or boiled boneless/skinless chicken breasts. Mix rice and the protein source in a 1:1 ratio.

It sounds as Rocco is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
