Pregnant dog has reddish discharge and won't walk. Is it serious?

This discharge may be normal, but it could also indicate infection. Ideally, Cocoa should be physically examined by your veterinarian to confirm all is well and the pups are doing fine. Monitor her for lethargy, fever, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, excessive discharge or active bleeding.

This is probably pyoderma, which is a skin infection, it can sometimes be more common in pregnant dogs. if it seems to be getting worse over time you should take her to the vet in order to get an antibiotic course which will probably resolve the issue.

It can be a sign of labor. A mucus discharge is normal when labor gets close. If you notice a green or brown discharge and there is no progression, then I would have her checked as this is a sign of distress. She is likely doing that motions to try to push and keep herself clean

This is a normal discharge, and as long as it's not yellow, green, or has a foul odor, I would not worry about it. As long as you walk her at her pace, stopping if she seems tired, then this distance is fine :-)

Some discharge can be normal during pregnancy, but the best thing to do is to take her to a vet who deals with canine reproduction for a full exam. I would do a vaginal cytology and/or culture to see if the discharge is normal, and take xrays or do an abdominal ultrasound to see how far along she is and to make sure the feti look normal, and that there is no sign of gas in the uterus which can indicate dead puppies. She should be far enough along to see heartbeats and count a heart rate on the puppies, which is the best indication of puppy health.
