Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 75 lbs
To feed calcium to pregent female is good or bad.Some breeders say that it is good but some are saying it is bad.If it is bad then what it harms???? Plz solve my confusion.

This is a very good question. You don’t want to give added calcium to any pet unless your pet is suffering form calcium deficiency because this would be an overdose or overload of calcium in the body, which can be detrimental. It is only advised to give your pet puppy food in the last trimester and until the puppies are weaned off of Mom for added calories. Supplemental calcium is not advised.
