Costs in the US for dental cleaning vary widely based on geographic location, as well as a wide range of costs depending on how severe the dental disease is (if extractions are needed, etc). Full mouth X-rays are ideal even when the teeth all appear healthy, just as we have X-rays taken at the dentist regularly.
Call your local vet's office for prices, but be prepared to spend at least $200-500, possibly more. You can call a number of different veterinary offices in your area. Again, general anesthesia is really required to do a good quality, safe, thorough dental cleaning which is why the cost may seem high.
