How much does professional dog teeth cleaning cost and where can I go?

It widely varies how much a dental costs depending on where you go and how much dental disease there is. For example, at my practice, we charge $320 for a dental cleaning, which can drastically increase if there is severe dental disease that requires extractions. Some clinics will start out well above $320. It is best to call around and ask how much a basic dental cleaning would be with no extractions. As far as the mass on the eye, depending on the location, this would be something that could be removed while under anesthesia for the dental procedure. Determining what the growth is would require a biopsy with a laboratory. Hope this makes sense.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would need to know a bit more information to really help: did that price include blood work, X-rays of the teeth and extractions? Extracting teeth is a big deal the requires gingival flaps and drilling. It isn't easy and takes a lot of time and patience. I have worked at 3 hospitals, 2 of the 3 a bill of $787 was average to low. The current place I work at doesn't charge enough in my opinion for how time consuming and hard extracting teeth are. We never go over $500 (without blood work and NO X-ray). Blood work is extra $77-$150 based on the pets age. Above prices are in US. I think that your Vet is charging appropriately. Eye removal can be pretty expensive as it is a delicate surgery, it could easily cost 400$ and up. Teeth cleaning is usually around 250$ but every tooth extraction is extra (between 15-30$ per tooth).
