Are Pitbull puppies healthy, purebred, and what about male vs female?

It is impossible to determine whether they are purebred at this age as puppies pretty much all look the same at this age. You should be able to tell by the time they are around 4 months old. There is also a possibility to do a DNA test to check whether they are purebred. This may have to be arranged through your veterinarian.

Since the litter would receive half of its genes from the pit bull and half from your mixed breed, none of the puppies would be pit bulls. That said, the way genes are expressed can vary widely and it is possible that some of the puppies may strongly resemble pit bulls.
