Can a new Pit Bull Terrier get along with my older Springer Spaniel?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 19 days old | 20 lbs

hello, im looking into buying a American pit bull terrier. my main concern is that we already have a female dog that is 8 years old and she is a springer spaniel. not to sure if these dogs would get along and make a good pair

The breed doesn’t determine if dogs will get along, it solely determines on their individual personalities. Exact same as humans from different nationalities or backgrounds. Sometimes you are great roommates and sometimes it doesn’t work out. I would recommend giving them a trial period together for a couple weeks to see how it might work out.
