What are these bumps on my pit bull's lips? Could it be staph?

From the picture it actually looks more like a deep skin infection to me. This could be bacterial or fungal, or even a hypersensitivity reaction (less likely). I would recommend that she be examined by your veterinarian soon. They may look at a sample under the microscope to help determine what therapies might be most helpful. This could be a skin infection, but it can be a sign of an allergic reaction. I would have this checked out by a vet, but if these bumps get worse, Bean's muzzle starts swelling, and/or he has trouble breathing, take him into an ER vet immediately.

These seem to be an infection, you might want to switch her water bowl to a stainless steel one as this could be the source. you will have to take her to the vet as this condition will require a course of antibiotics to resolve.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Carter! Possible causes are: skin infection, fungal infection, demodex or an immune condition call puppy strangles. His skin looks bad in the picture. I would recommend taking him to the Vet on Monday. Skin infections need antibiotics, demodex is treated with oral flea/tick medications like Nexgard, Simparica and Bravecto and puppy strangles is treated with steroids and antibiotics. This is a skin fold dermatitis (inflammation) likely to be caused by an infection. A check up, appropriate disinfection and possibly antibiotics (oral, topical or in a shampoo formulation) are needed to solve the problem. Disinfection may be started at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths. Buster collar may be useful as well to avoid any scratching (if any). It could be an infection, cyst, allergic reaction, or mass. Have your vet take a look at the bump tomdetermine the cause. Your vet can do a fine needle aspirate to diagnose and then determine the best way to treat it. He may need an antibiotic, antihistamine, corticosteroid to treat or it may need to be removed.
