My newly adopted dog won't pee or poop after coming home. Normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 5 years old | 19 lbs

Hello today around 11am I adopted a dog 19lbs terrier Yorkshire named jack I’ve took it out multiple times today and he hasn’t gone since we brought him is that normal considering it’s still adapting to his new environment

It is common for a decrease in appetite and to not be very playful from being scared but generally does. It affect urination at this point. I would not worry about a BM at this point as it may be too soon but he should have at least urinated somewhere. Are you sure he has not gone somewhere inside? The best thing to do is keep him in a kennel or small room tonight to see if he goes in there once left alone overnight.
