Is it safe to use lidocaine hot spot spray on my pregnant dog?

Topical lidocaine would be safe, but it isn’t going to help much with the discomfort of the tick after an hour or so. Even though they are a common pest, they can cause irritation and local infection, quite a bit of discomfort in the ear, and (cause anemia in younger animals). A topical tick preventative would likely be cheaper in the long-run than purchasing lidocaine sprays.

The lidocaine rub could provide pain relief for your dog, but not taking her to the vet and using this medication without a veterinary consultation or diagnosis is your judgement call. If used inappropriately, Lidocaine can have some serious side effects in regards to toxicity. I would refrain from using this medication until otherwise directed by your veterinarian. Unless this is a life-threatening reaction, I wouldn't advise using any drugs while she is pregnant. If she develops itching, trouble breathing, pale membranes, vomiting or other signs, I would advise contacting your veterinarian or a local emergency veterinarian for advice. Drug use during pregnancy should be avoided at all costs in my opinion. Maybe trying a hypoallergenic oatmeal shampoo and leaving the lather on her for 10 minutes may help ease the situation. It is not a good idea to put hydrocortisone on a cut as it will HINDER healing and help bacteria infect the cut. Please wipe that off again. There is also no need for lidocaine (a local anesthetic). Unless the skin is cut all the way through (as I have described in your first question), you do not have to put anything on the cut, just let it scab over and heal by itself.

No, I would not give this to Lol Bit. It contains diphenhydramine, which shouldn't be given to pregnant dogs. I've read the label of excel as well, and it doesn't say it's safe to give to pregnant dogs. I would speak to your vet about Lol Bit's current symptoms, and they can prescribe a safe medication for her if needed.
