Is Kibbles 'n Bits good dog food? Can dogs eat bananas and sausage?

Kibbles-n-Bits is an ok food, but not the greatest. Given that Luna was fed it at the shelter, I do not recommend changing her food because a change of food can lead to GI upset. It's best to keep her on a food she's doing well on. As they say, if it's not broke, don't fix it! I hope this helps :-)

This is a potassium rich fruit that is a good alternative to the traditional dog treats that you get from the store. Hello, given that it has garlic in there, it would not be safe to give to your dog. Garlic in certain amounts can cause GI upset in small amounts, but in severe amounts it can also cause anemia. Additionally, your dog's food should be well balanced if it is certified to meet the AAFCO standards. This should be indicated in the label of the bag of dog food. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Commonly used protein sources for dogs include: chicken, turkey, beef, lamb, salmon, pork, lentils, or eggs (all cooked, of course). Some examples of commonly used vegetable and grain sources include: Black beans, pinto beans, green peas, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, quinoa, and white or brown rice. Use fruits more sparingly due to the sugar content and greater likelihood of gastrointestinal upset, but apples, bananas, and canned pure pumpkin. Bill Jac is not my favorite. Natural balance limited ingredient diet is a good food which is grain free. But also the commercial diets that have been around for years like science diet, iams, and royal canine are all great foods. These foods do have grains in them but grains are okay for dogs as long as they do not have a grain allergy. Also, these foods have a lot of research to back them up which some of these newer "fancier" foods do not have that same amount of research. I hope this helps.

Unfortunately, there is no one "best" food or treat for Snickers. There are higher quality diets such as Acana, Royal Canin, Canidae and a few others. The key to choosing a diet for your dog is to find one that he will eat, that doesn't cause any GI upset and is easy for you to buy. Choose a diet with a named protein source over diets with by-products and meat meals.
