GOOD DAY. what human food (fruit and veggies, protein, grains, carbs and beans and lentils) are safe for dogs. i am raising my dogs organically and am making their dog treats self (i am still giving them hills ideal balance grain free dog kebbels) i want to make their treats healthy ( with beneficial properties) i have googled but i would be more comfortable asking a vets advise.

I always recommend sweet potatoes. I will cut them thin and dehydrate so they act like a raw hide chew. Green beans and peas are not bad either. Their are some good recipes online for dog food biscuits. Chocolate, onions, grapes, raisins and garlic are all toxic and should be avoided
