Why is my Jack Russell dog vomiting food and water repeatedly?

It sounds like he probably has developed a touch of gastritis due to the pancake annoying his stomach. If the vomiting continues I would attend the vet in case the fat level in the pancake has caused pancreatitis. However, it should settle within the next 24 hours. Keep him on bland food with unlimited water.

I'm glad to hear that Lucy otherwise seems to be eating, drinking and acting normally! However, it is very concerning that she has had vomiting with dark material that may or may not be blood. If blood is present, it is possible that she could have an ulcer in her stomach and/or intestines, severe intestinal parasites, exposure to a toxin, cancer, among many other issues. Even though this has only happened twice over 2 months, I still strongly recommend taking Lucy to her vet for evaluation. She may need to have abdominal x-rays and/or ultrasound, as well as some blood testing. From there, her vet will be able to advise you as to the best course of treatment. It seems as Max is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Poor Jake! It's quite serious that he is vomiting after drinking water, and I would not feed him at this point in time. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, and if the vomiting stops, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. Should Jake keep vomiting water, vomits in the absence of food, vomits the bland diet, refuses to eat the bland diet, develops diarrhea, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet immediately.

Poor Jack sounds very sick, and he needs immediate veterinary attention. This is not something that can be treated at home. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. Poor Max. I would recommend to take him to your vet. It is not normal for them to drink excessive amounts of water and have a lack of appetite. There are several things that can cause these symptoms including certain bacterial infections, diabetes. viral infections, toxins and more. Your vet will likely want to start by running some blood work to help rule out different causes of the increased water intake and then treat accordingly. I hope Max starts to feel better!

Sky may have a problem with her equilibrium, ie an inner ear infection. you need to take her to a veterinarian ASAP. The vet will want to do x-rays of the head to check what is going on in her inner ear, and will give sky medication to stop the nausea. There also may be another problem with the brain. Please take Sky to an out of hours vet now.
