I have a mixed breed dog. How can I identify her specific breeds?

Both of those breeds have a longer coat and based on the photos Paris has a short coat rigth now, however she may develop one as she gets older. It is difficult to tell at this age, especially when you are dealing with a mixed dog, because you can have a mix of characteristic traits that don't completely look like one breed or another. I would allow the pup to grow up a bit more then re-assessing, or I would consider having a dog DNA test done through your local vet. They really are quite affordable and require a quick blood sample. You will also gain valuable intimation on what genetic predispositions she has and what diseases she may develop later in life. I would start there if you are looking for an accurate assessment right now. We are only right about 30% of the time when using visualization only in a puppy this young. You collect a cheek swab and submit to it a laboratory. You recieve information of her genetic make up based on these results. I suspect she is a mix of several breeds such as Shih Tzu, Tibetan Terrier and possibly Jack Russell Terrier. I hope this information helps!

Dax appears to have Mastiff in him, though he appears to possibly be a mixture of a few breeds. He has very large paws So I would expect him to be over 30lbs full grown. There are genetic tests which veterinarians can run to determine the exact breeds your dog is.

She looks big! From her head shape, I would think there is some Great Dane in her. I can't tell you for sure if she may be full Great Dane or a mix, but her paws, head shape, short coat, and coloring and very similar to a Great Dane.

First you should know that breed identification by looks alone has been proven to be inaccurate 75% of the time. If I had to guess, I suspect a pit bull type breed and German Shepherd. However Boxer and maybe hound could also be present. If you want to know for sure, look at one of the breed tests such as Wisdom Panel. Beautiful dog!

Regardless of his breed, Bruno is adorable! :-) From the photos, he does not appear to be a purebred Pomeranian to me. My best guess would be a Pomeranian-Corgi-Jack Russell terrier mix. If you want to determine his breed with more precision, you can look into a DNA test, such as a Wisdom Panel.
