How do I find out my terrier mix dog's breed? Is she a Rat Terrier?

It’s difficult to say for sure but it looks like he may be part rat terrier or jack Russell terrier or some other type of terrier with pointed ears. He is really cute! Unfortunately there is no way to know for sure. You can do a DNA test but it isn’t 100% accurate and I did it on my dog just for fun.

Your puppy is very cute! It is important to remember that visual identification is inaccurate 75% of the time. However if I had to guess, I think there is some pitbull terrier in your pup. It is likely that your pup is a mix of several different breeds. It is also possible that boxer or Boston terrier is present in the heritage. What a cutie! She is not a single breed I recognize so I would suspect she is a mixture of two or more breeds. Based on her appearance I would suspect spaniel of some kind (possibly cavalier king charles spaniel) possibly with a small australian sheperd or border collie. Your notes however say she is only 4 pounds and if that is truly the case then I would suspect a long haired chihuahua mix. Awww, very cute! She looks like a cross between a Rottweiler and a Labrador Retriever. If you are really curious as to an exact answer, there are dog DNA tests available that make are supposed to be able to reveal exact genetic make up of a canine. Hope this helps!

What a cutie pie! A shorkie is certainly a possibility, as would be a cross with a maltese (morkie), a chihuahua (chorkie) or really any smaller breed dog. Or she could potentially be a chichuahua cross as they can have this color pattern as well. If you truly want to know her breed makeup you can do a genetic test.
