What causes a female dog to leak brown fluid and pee everywhere?

In an eight year old unspayed dog, the symptoms you are describing may be consistent with pyometra, or an infection of the uterus. This is generally considered an emergency that should be addressed as soon as possible. The uterus fills up with pus and infectious material, and can ultimately result in a severe systemic infection. I recommend taking Bella in to the vet for an exam right away so they can determine if this is the issue. The best thing to do for her if it is, is removing her uterus and ovaries. I would have Bella seen by a vet immediately. She could be suffering from a pyometra, which would cause her to be lethargic, shiver from pain, have the brownish discharge, and drink and urinate a lot. A pyometra is fatal without treatment, so she should be seen by a vet now. A UTI or bladder stones are other differentials for her symptoms, but the risk is of a pyometra is high. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, urinalysis, and x-rays to diagnose what is causing her symptoms so she can be treated. If she does have a pyometra, spaying her is part of the recommended treatment. Please take her into a vet now.

If she is spayed, this could be several things. I hope not, but depending on her age there could be cancer in the urinary tract that's causing bleeding (blood doesn't always look bright red). Very occasionally spayed dogs will continue to bleed if a piece of an ovary was left behind. Get her checked out by your veterinarian as soon as possible to figure out what's going on.

Tootsie may have a uterine infection called pyometra. This type of infection can become very serious, causing secondary complications like sepsis, low blood pressure and even death. Tootsie should be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible as catching this type of infection earlier rather than later is key to preventing those secondary issues from occurring.
