No, I don't recommend that at all. A one month of age, he is old enough to be weaned onto puppy food. To help Rudy wean and to get used to dry food, I would soak a high quality puppy formulated dry food in warm water until soft. Then mix that with puppy formula such as KMR to make a mush the consistency of oatmeal. Over the next two weeks, gradually increase the amount of dry puppy food and decrease the amount of water and KMR you use until he is eating the dry puppy food only.

Any food that is made for puppies is good. This provides all the nutrition a puppy needs and there will be no need for giving supplements. A one month old puppy should still be nursing, so if the mother is not around, then you will need to supplement milk. It has to be a puppy formulated food because puppies require higher amounts of protein, calcium, and calories than an adult dog. A puppy food will provide everything he needs to grow properly. Brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. On the bag, there is a daily recommended amount of food, and I would divide that into three equal portions to feed him three times a day, once in the morning, noon, and evening.
