Why does my dog have new white spots on his skin near his penis?

Doodle's skin certainly has a noticeable depigmentation. Possible causes of this issue include fungal infections (Malassezia or ringworm), demodectic mange, or cancerous lesions (less common given his young age). At this point, I recommend taking Doodle to the vet for an exam. The vet will be able to perform skin cytology (to look for Malassezia yeast or bacteria), a fungal culture (to look for ringworm) and skin scrapings (to look for the mites that cause mange). Some dogs will have black skin pigmentation in this area that can appear as black specks, especially if they have a history of allergies or itching in this area. Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! It's hard to clearly make out the picture of his testicles. But it isn't abnormal for dogs to have freckles or pigmentation on their testicles. The scrotum is just like regular skin, if the animal is white with spots the scrotum can have spots. As for the spots on his belly, they could be evidence of a mild skin infection. A pustule that popped and left a crusty ring. If he only has those 2-3 spots and isn't excessively licking or scratching, you can try a medicated shampoo. Bathe him 2-3 times per week and leave the lather on the affected areas for 10 mins before rinsing. Those spots on Nike could be several things including allergies, skin mites, flea bites, ringworm (which humans can get) or a bacterial infection. Also, watch him very closely for increased frequency of urination. Sometimes licking the external genitals can signify a bladder infection. I recommend to have his urine checked for an infection to be safe. Until yo can get him into the veterinarian's office, you can try adding in an omega 3 fatty acid supplement for dogs, this can help improve the skin health. You can wash the lesions with soap once a day and rinse well (don't wash his whole body, just those spots and do not get soap inside his prepuce). Thankfully those are totally normal areas of pigment accumulation in the skin. Often they flake off like any other dead skin cells that are exfoliated by the body. It is common to see this around the genitals in dogs and there is no reason to be concerned. Cheers!

Those black spots look like comedones (aka: blackheads). I suggest you use this shampoo that contains benzoyl peroxide. Lather the affected areas (no need to do the whole dog), let it sit for 10-15 minutes and then rinse throughly. Do this every 2-3 days until they are gone.
