My dog is weak, swaying, and leaking urine. Is this an emergency?

All of those combined sound like a very serious issue that should be seen by a veterinarian in person immediately. Toxicity, neurologic issues, illness, vestibular issues, muscular problems, etc can all be potential causes, so it is best to seek help from a veterinarian in person or a local ER clinic ASAP.

Any continued abnormal symptoms (longer than 24 hours) warrants a vet exam. I cannot tell you what is wrong with her just by your description. There are many different things that could be causing her symptoms. Those symptoms are very vague and could be caused by any illness or disease process. I can tell you that you need to be diligent getting weird symptoms checked out especially with an older dog. Please get her a vet exam as soon as you can. They may recommend running some lab tests and/or x-rays.

I'm sorry to hear that Jersey Mae isn't feeling well. Before you give her anything, I would recommend having your veterinarian examine her and check a urine sample. Best case scenario this is THC toxicity (if you smoke marijuana or have edibles in the house, take a look around to see if you’re missing anything). Worst case scenario, this is something serious like a prostate or bladder tumor or infection. In either case, he needs to see the emergency vet for a good physical exam including a rectal exam. Even if you think it could be THC, the severity of his poisoning needs to be assessed- treatment ranges from monitoring at home to intensive hospitalization with seizure control and intralipid therapy. Lola sounds ill, and it's quite concerning that she is squatting constantly to pee with nothing coming out. That can be a sign of bladder stones, and if these bladder stones are blocking her urethra, it is a medical emergency. A blocked urethra can lead to the bladder rupture. She could also be suffering from a UTI. Panting is a sign of pain in dogs, so if Lola is panting, I would believe that she is in pain. Based on her symptoms, it would be best if she was seen by a vet immediately. I would take her into an ER vet or find a vet on call to see her now.

Loss of appetite and weight loss can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. He may be so weak that that is why it seems like he is urinating and defecating in his bed and laying on it. I recommend that you have Rooney evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and others depending on the findings on exam. I would recommend bringing her to a veterinarian right away. I am unsure how long she was out but her behavior is very abnormal for her age. I am worried that she ingested something toxic or was traumatically injured. It is hard for me to discern without a physical exam but I would recommend an exam, some bloodwork and maybe even some radiographs depending.
