This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. It's impossible to say for sure without seeing the growths you're talking about, but the most common skin growths on older toy poodles are sebaceous adenomas - these look like small, raised, irregular pink growths on the skin. There is no medical way to get rid of them - the only thing that can be done is surgical removal by your veterinarian. Hello. These look to be very typical warts. Just keep an eye on them to make sure they do not start enlarging. Generally, the only time we worry about warts is if a pet begins to chew on them causing bleeding. Otherwise, it is just a sign of aging & there is no need to really worry about them.
