Why is my dog vomiting after drinking water, not eating or pooping?

  I'm so sorry that Rosie is not feeling well. Anytime diarrhea is bloody or associated with lethargy, we recommend having them evaluated by a veterinarian. And especially since it sounds like Rosie is getting worse, I would worry that she is getting dehydrated (which can happen very quickly in a small dog), so I would anticipate that she will continue to get worse until she is treated. There are anti-diarrheal medications that your veterinarian can prescribe that will likely help very quickly
  
  I would recommend having her examined ASAP, but if your veterinarian cannot get her in today and she is stil eating normally, we will often recommend a bland easily digested diet consisting of ½ cooked white rice and ½ cooked white meat chicken (boiled without any skin or bones). Once her diarrhea has resolved, then you can slowly transition back to her normal diet over a few days.

  It sounds as Rosie is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

  Poor Rosie! It does sound like she is sick, and vomiting in dogs can be caused by a GI illness, intestinal parasites, eating something rotten, or a foreign body. I can give you a home remedy to see if that helps before having to take Rosie into the vet. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.
