Why is my Pom vomiting and pooping after visiting an aggressive dog?

If you caught him chewing on something today, my concern is that he chewed up something else at an earlier time and may have a foreign body or toxicity. Stress can certainly cause vomiting and diarrhea in some situations but in a puppy that is used to being left alone, I am more concerned about foreign body, parasites or viral disease. If he is active and alert you can feed small frequent meals of his regular dog food (just a handful at a time every couple of house) if no vomiting then continue to monitor. But if he is depressed, won't eat or vomits up what he does eat then I strongly recommend a vet visit today. I hope Budleigh is feeling better soon. Vomiting and diarrhea can be caused by many conditions primarily gastrointestinal in nature such gastroenteritis and gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction or other conditions such as pancreatitis or kidney disease. I recommend that you have your pup evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Likely diagnostics to be performed include abdominal imaging and general bloodwork. You could try a bland diet composed mainly of boiled chicken and white rice which is easily digestible and can help with an upset stomach. Good luck and have a great day!

Is this new behavior by your boyfriend or has your boyfriend just started to come around more? If so, Luna certainly could be stressed by this or protesting. Make sure Luna and your boyfriend get plenty of bonding time and maybe he can feed her, walk her or even give her some dog treats throughout the day to help. Whether he is new or not, you may consider putting a calming collar on her like adaptil or sentry. If This doesn’t work, I would talk to your vet about putting her on an anti-anxiety medicine like fluoxetine. I hope this helps!

Moving to a new area, new home, and the addition of changing to being an only dog is a lot of new changes all at once. Sometimes it just takes time for dogs to acclimate to their new life and new home. She is likely feeling a little insecure in her new place, but that is not unusual. Keep her busy with exercise. Lots of walks, lots of play time with you and gradually introduce her to new people making the experience positive with rewarding her for good behavior with a treat she really really loves. Lavander oil with an essential oil diffuser in your home can aide in calming the mood. Calming chews with L-Theanine in them can also help as well as a number of Rx medications that can help smooth the transition if you are finding yourself and Luna in a road block with progress. Also, working with a trainer around your area can be a very helpful to keep Luna on track and moving in the right direction. Poor Merida! The vomit looks more like regurgitation, or indigested food. Her nose scratch may be from digging to get out of her crate. All of her symptoms may be caused by separation anxiety, especially because she is behaving differently or if this is the first time you have left her. However, this can be coincidental with parasites, an infection, or ingestion of a toxin or foreign body. I recommend keeping a close eye on her and having her seen by a vet if she develops bloody diarrhea, continues vomiting, or starts acting lethargic. You can hold off food for the rest of the day and give small amounts of water. I hope this helps!
