My dog is vomiting pink foam. Is it poison or something else serious?

Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Diesel evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid he is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check his hydration status and give him medications to make him feel better. Good luck!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Not necessarily. Pink foamy vomit does not signal any particular condition. In this case it may be due to his kidney disease. Keep a close eye on the vomit to make sure that there is no blood in it. Good luck and have a great day!

It could be, the pink tinge might be blood, indicating that he has swallowed something that injured his throat or stomach or he has vomited so much his esophagus is irritated enough to bleed. Either way, I strongly recommend getting him in to see a vet right away, especially if the vomiting has been going on for some time.

If Nelly is now not drinking much water she is likely becoming dehydrated and is in need of fluid therapy. Your poor pup! She may be quite ill. Vomiting in dogs has many causes, some serious and others not so serious. The amount of [vomiting](https://www.petcoach.co/dog/condition/vomiting-1/) along with her symptoms are concerning. This could be caused by [pancreatitis](https://www.petcoach.co/article/pancreatitis-inflammation-in-dogs), a [foreign body](https://www.petcoach.co/dog/condition/foreign-bodies-in-the-small-intestine-in-cats-and/), or a severe GI illness. Given the number of vomiting episodes in a relatively short period of time coupled with the fact she is bringing up white foam, ideally, she should be physically examined by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER. A complete exam and diagnostics (blood work, x-rays, etc.) may diagnose the underlying cause. Afterwards, the appropriate treatment can be administered. Supportive care (IV or subcutaneous fluids, anti-emetics, etc.) can be administered until a diagnosis is reached.

Poor Coco! Poisoning can definitely cause drooling, foaming, and vomiting, so it is possibly the pest control. It could also be something else he may have ingested.
