My dog is throwing up pink frothy vomit. Should I take him to the vet?

My dog is throwing up pink frothy sick, is this serious?

It could be, the pink tinge might be blood, indicating that he has swallowed something that injured his throat or stomach or he has vomited so much his esophagus is irritated enough to bleed. Either way, I strongly recommend getting him in to see a vet right away, especially if the vomiting has been going on for some time.

    Hi, if the second vomit was just pink tinged you could wait and keep an eye on her. If the vomit should continue, over the next hour, or if there was fresh blood (bright red), I would have Viole checked over at the emergency clinic. Hope this helps !
