Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. I would refrain from giving pedialyte immediately after Crisco vomits. I would wait until he is not vomiting for a few hours and then offer him the pedialyte. Ideally, Parvo should be managed from a hospital setting as the most appropriate treatment is IV fluids. If you are able to, I would recommend talking to your veterinarian about at home treatments. Your vet can supply you with medications and fluids to help replenish electrolytes. Canine viyo recuperation is a liquid supplement that I recommend using for replenishing electrolytes. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns that I may help you with further.

I actually would recommend hospitalizing Hunter at a 24 hour emergency hospital. Especially if he cannot keep anything down.
The best course of action is symptomatic care and IV fluids to keep Hunter hydrated. Even if giving pedialyte, if he is vomiting he isn't going to be getting enough fluids to help.
I would also be concerned the more you give orally the more you he may vomit.
I hope Hunter feels better soon and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
