My dog is vomiting food and water. Is this a medical emergency?

Signs that you need to take her now include vomiting a lot in a short space of time (i.e. five times in five to 10 minutes), vomiting water, not drinking water, having diarrhea, or being very lethargic. I would be very concerned about Bubbles, and take her into a vet immediately. I see that she isn't spayed, which means she can develop a life threatening infection of the uterus called a pyometra. A pyometra is fatal without treatment, and it causes vomiting, weakness, and lethargy, all signs she is showing. Without seeing her in person, I can't say for certain if she has one or not, but because of the seriousness of a pyometra I would take her into vet now. Diarrhea can be observed with conditions such as colitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, among many other possibilities. This is not likely to be related. I'm sorry, it looks like your original question about Luna got cut off, as all we were able to see is "Our 5 month old female lab was vomiting." If her current issue is frequent urination and accidents in the house, she may have developed a urinary tract infection, which is unlikely to be related to the vomiting (if the vomiting has since resolved). I recommend that you take her to your vet, as a urine test can be performed. If it is discovered that she does indeed have an infection, antibiotics will be needed to clear it up.
