My puppy threw up and fainted. Why is he still dizzy and weak?

Dogs can collapse and faint because of vomiting. This is a reflex when vomiting process is stimulating a nerve that slows down the heart rate and dogs may faint as a result of that. The recovery is usually rapid and the dog is back on the feet within seconds. If that what has happened to Aries, you can monitor him at home for the next 15-30 min. If it was only the reflex, he should be back to normal by now. If he is still staggering or looking confused please take him to your local vets as an emergency. It sounds as Milo is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
