Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 7 years old

My dog throw up and she suddenly fall down to her side and shake as if she was electrocuted. Later, she wouldn't move as much and lays down most of the time. Her back leg sometimes shake. Now she is moving a little bit more but pauses every time she walks for a second. She is a peekapoo and is 7 years old.

Hello, sorry to hear about Fuzzy. It sounds like she may have had a seizure and may be continuing to have mild forms of seizures. If Fuzzy continues to have these signs, she should be seen by a veterinarian as she may need to have medications and diagnostics to determine why she is suddenly having these events.

Other potential causes include having some form of obstruction or GI toxin. Please have Fuzzy seen immediately if she continues to act abnormally. Hope this helps and best of luck.
