Dog vomiting, diarrhea, limping, panting, not eating. What's wrong?

Loss of appetite and vomiting can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. Lameness can be due to discomfort possibly due to arthritis or something else. This may be related or perhaps may be unrelated and another issue. Lyme disease is a possibility though this is not very common. I recommend that you have Jakey evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I'm sorry to hear Cyrus is having issues. Based on the combination of signs you are seeing, I would recommend he be evaluated by his regular veterinarian. We would be concerned about exposure to tick borne disease (such as Lyme), an infection, an underlying medical issue (diabetes, kidney disease, liver issues), cancer, or an underlying GI issue. I would have him evaluated, have any necessary testing done (X-rays, bloodwork), and start on any treatment that may be needed. Good luck!

The two may or may not be related. It is hard to say. However if they are related then he will likely have a fever. You can check his rectal temperature and it should be between 100-102.5 degrees Fahrenheit. If it is high then I would suspect an infectious disease (tick borne disease), congenital bone disorder (femoral head necrosis) or septic arthritis could be causing Ollie's symptoms. Having some baseline bloodwork and a complete physical exam is a good place to start in trying to narrow down the possible causes of his ailment. If he is otherwise stable and eating, drinking normal, and able to go urinate and defecate normally, then he may be able to wait until morning to be seen by a vet. However, if he has pale gums, is lame to the point of being non-responsive, or starts vomiting excessively, then he needs to go to an ER vet right away. Best case scenario is that he has a muscle sprain and also had an upset stomach from something he ate. These would be easily treatable through the vet. You can try to offer him a bland diet of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese to help settle his stomach tonight. Also keep him rested and don't allow him to jump or run to prevent any further injury to his back leg. I hope things work out well for you both. Best wishes and take care.

Lameness, loss of appetite and energy are definitely concerning. This can be caused by tick borne diseases such as Lyme disease. There are also certain bone and joint diseases that only affect growing puppies, and need to be ruled out with an x-Ray. I recommend having your appointment sooner rather than later, you may want to call your vet and ask for an earlier appointment.

Oh no! It sounds like Lela is painful on her right hind leg and needs to be evaluated for an injury or wound. The vomiting and diarrhea could be related to what is going on with her leg or could be caused by something else. I would recommend you take her in to your vet to be evaluated. She may need anti-inflammatories or pain medication for her leg as well as anti-nausea medication and diarrhea medication for her intestinal tract. With vomiting and diarrhea I also get very concerned about dehydration, so she may need some fluid treatment as well to get her feeling better. Good luck! These symptoms are very suspicious of a tick born disease such as tick fever, babesiosis or lyme disease. you should take him back to your vet and request a blood test to identify those potential blood parasites, treatment is with some very specific medications and antibiotics.

It sounds like your dog is sick. The drooling can be due to nausea, and the lethargy, vomiting, anorexia, and diarrhea could be due to a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, pancreatitis, or a foreign body. I would take your dog into a vet right away for an exam, he sounds quite ill with all these symptoms, and he needs to be medically treated ASAP.
