Why is my dog still vomiting blood and quivering after vet care?

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with Jorja. I am going to go out on a limb and assume the anti nausea medication provided was Cerenia. This is typically a very effective medication for vomiting, and if there is still vomiting in the face of this, I would definitely recommend getting her back into the vet for re-examination. I would strongly recommend x-rays and blood work. Depending on the level of dehydration, hospitalization with IV fluids would likely be useful particularly if the vomiting is going to continue. I it may be a reaction to the medication or there could have been something else alreadybtherr that just didn’t show it self yet such as an infection. If you are displeased with your vet then you can seek a second opinion but i would give the vet a call or schedule a recheck to see if they want to change medications or do blood work to address the vomiting now. Since there is blood in the vomit I would recommend getting him rechecked to make sure it does not continue and he doesn’t get dehydrated from it

The injection is called Cerenia, if this didn't help then you must take him back to the vet for a blood test and xray/ulrasound, he might be suffering from either a foreign body in the GI tract or severe gastrointestinal infection.

Yes, I recommend to have Grima examined today. I'm concerned she is in pain and that she feels really bad. Additionally, with the advent of the vomiting red, I'm concerned she might be puking blood and it sounds like the condition is getting worse. Just like humans, there are many different things that will cause the same clinical symptoms. Grima could have severe pancreatitis, a pyometra or even something like cancer. It sounds as Enzo is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet urgently as vomiting blood is a serious symptom, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
