Pet's info: Dog | Rat Terrier | Male | neutered | 10 years and 2 months old | 16.4 lbs
Our rat terrier was recently diagnosed with IMHA and is on a course of Prednisone and Doxycycline. I administered the Prednisone this morning by placing the pill in the back of his mouth because he has figured out all of my other methods. It seems to have really triggered a bit a gag reflex because within 5 minutes he vomited. It was a small amount of mostly clear yellow fluid and the pill was not present. My question is - should I redose him even though the pill was not present.
