No you will not face legal trouble at all. What the vet will do is examine your girl and make recommedations for her health. They can discuss which vaccines will keep her safe and healthy, which will likely be distemper parvo and rabies. It will also likely be recommended to check for heartworms and GI parasites if she is not on a preventative. And if heartworm negative consider starting a preventative. As she is unspayed they will also likely discuss this with you and what to monitor for in the future if not spayed. It is not too late for vaccines. Schedule an appointment with your veterinarian. Discuss your dog's lifestyle. Together, you can determine which vaccine protocol is best for your dog. At the very least your dog should get a rabies vaccine and a distemper/parvovirus combo vaccine. He may require boosters 4 weeks after the initial vaccines. Consider a heartworm test and fecal as well. Monthly preventatives are also strongly recommended.

It also depends on her if vaccines are current or not if she can be eligible for a 3 year vaccine. For example, a 1 year rabies vaccine is given to a puppy. Then she would receive the 3 year vaccine as an adult. If her vaccines stay current, she would need a booster every 3 years.
