The injection is called Cerenia, if this didn't help then you must take him back to the vet for a blood test and xray/ulrasound, he might be suffering from either a foreign body in the GI tract or severe gastrointestinal infection.

He could be uncomfortable because he has abdominal pain. If it continues than you should call your vet and give him/her an update. Your vet could prescribe gastric protectants and pain medications to help relieve his discomfort. Hope he feels better soon!

The stance in the picture and standing still likely means Spike's belly is still uncomfortable. I would recommend that he get checked out by a vet. Since he is an old guy, CBC, blood chemistry, urinalysis, with or without x-rays would be recommended to be able to determine if there is an underlying medical issue or if this is just simple nausea.

No, I don't think any vomiting is normal. With all the issues he really should be back at the vet so they can check him. He really should be hospitalized until he is eating normally and holding it down with no vomiting for a few days. If they find no issues he may just need to be on a daily anti-vomiting medication like Cerenia or an antacid like Pepcid.

Vomiting and inappetence can occur from many conditions such as foreign body ingestion and obstruction, pancreatitis, gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. I am concerned that he could be showing signs of an obstruction which is something that requires therapy which sometimes includes surgery. I recommend that you have Jager evaluated by a veterinarian at this point for further assessment and treatment. This will likely require bloodwork and abdominal imaging in terms of diagnostics. Treatment would be based on findings. At the very least your veterinarian could start him on medications to make him feel better. If xrays and general labwork have been performed already, I would start looking for other possibilities causing this with more advanced diagnostics such as an abdominal ultrasound and GI panel to begin with. Another disease they could investigate is Addison's disease. This would expand the diagnostics to the point of being able to more extensively look into what may be causing this in him. Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Bambi evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid he is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check his hydration status and give him medications to make him feel better. Good luck!
