My puppy choked on food. Is being tired normal after this trauma?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 1 year and 8 months old | 63 lbs

I have a puppy born January 23rd and it got a hold of a piece of dog food and choked we saved him not sure how thank God but hes kinda being tired acting would that be normal I realize he went through a trauma

Poor baby! Thank goodness she is alright. My biggest concern is that she may have aspirated some of the crumbs and could be developing aspiration pneumonia. Yes, she has been through some trauma, but I would expect her to perk back up pretty quickly. If she isn't starting to feel better within 24 hours of the event, I would strongly recommend have your vet take a look at her. Your vet will be able to determine if she has any other issues and get her started on the proper meds before she gets worse. I hope this helps!
