Why is my puppy lethargic with a dry nose after changing food?

The nose of a dog is not used as an indication of illness. A dog's nose can change from cold and wet to warm and dry just by laying in the sun or sitting near a heat source. He may still be sleepy from his nap, and given that he just started this behavior, I would monitor him for now. If he's still lethargic in the morning, I would have him seen by a vet for a health check.

Unfortunately, those symptoms are all very vague. Pretty much any disease process or illness could cause them. I suggest you monitor her closely for the next 24 hours and if she is still not back to normal she should be examined by your vet right away.

It's most likely the illness that is causing her to act like this. It's common for puppies to get various upper respiratory infections at this age. She could have been perfectly normal last week, but she is definitely sick now, so I recommend a recheck by the veterinarian. Upper respiratory infections are often treatable and do not cause severe disease in pups, but there are a few scary diseases (i.e. Canine Distemper) that can start-out like this and become very serious later on.
